EVENTS AND SOCIALS
Join us throughout the year at a variety of planned events.

United Nations Day
24 October 2017
This year's UN Day will be used to highlight concrete actions people can take to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
25 November 2017
"Violence against women and girls is a human rights violation, public health pandemic and serious obstacle to sustainable development. It imposes large-scale costs on families, communities and economies. The world cannot afford to pay this price." — Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General
This year, the UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign invites you to “Orange the world,” using the colour designated by the UNiTE campaign to symbolize a brighter future without violence.

International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
29 November 2017
"This year, the number of demolitions of Palestinian houses and other structures by Israeli forces has doubled, compared to 2015. Gaza remains a humanitarian emergency, with 2 million Palestinians struggling with crumbling infrastructure and a paralyzed economy, and tens of thousands still displaced, awaiting reconstruction of homes destroyed by conflict."
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
